Sametime Gateway 8.0.1 Windows


I just login to our Passport Advantage account and notice the "DB2 Activation for IBM Lotus Sametime Products English(C14KVEN)" under "IBM Lotus Sametime Gateway 8.0.1 Multilingual Multiplatform eAssembly(CR6H4ML)". Anyone know what this product is used for ?

Curious I decided to download it and found that it contain two file, a readme.htm and db2ese_o.lic. Judging from the extension. I assume it is some sort of license file. Do I need to apply this license to my BD installation ?
